Check out our article about Walkway Landscaping Pictures below: We get a lot of inquries around here about the best way to lay out a brick paver walkway! However, many people are also looking for creative ways to design their new walkways. Check out our pictures and ideas below for some beautiful brick paver walkway patterns designs and ideas! Bricks are not just for walkways anymore!
(Picture 1) You can use bricks anywhere. Check out this gorgeous brick paver pool area patio below. Decked out in cobblestone style concrete brick pavers, this pool area has gotten a wonderful upgrade from the white concrete slabs that sat around it before. Using poly-sand material to fill in the cracks in the bricks will provide stabilization to the bricks and keep the joint material from washing away with the pool water.

(Picture 2) Below is a creative circular brick pattern perfect for gathering areas or to emphasize certain places such as sitting areas, front door step clearance areas, etc. Almost every manufacturer of brick pavers has a circle kit like this one. Whether it is common brick paver style or cobblestones, they will have one to match any color you choose. (Picture 2)
Go for the Curves! (Picture 3) Concrete can be quick, easy and cheap to install, but a brick paver walkway will give you that old-world class and elegance. When used alongside beautiful and colorful plants, the effect is soothing, relaxing and extraordinary. And there is no better way to make a casual walk than by adding curves, giving your guests the feeling that there is no rush to get anywhere. Using a cornrow pattern of laying brick pavers like the one shown below, you can create a great visual enhancement to accentuate your curves. (Picture 3) Lets play checkers!
(Picture 4) While the interlocking pavers below might look like a game of tetris to most of us, these highly durable concrete brick pavers are no game. They are frequently used in commercial paving areas such as city crosswalks and sidewalks as well as in places like shopping malls and corporate office buildings. Paving driveways with these brick pavers at home is a great option if you want a solid paving pattern that will stand up to the weight and pressure of frequent car traffic.

Psychedelic Grooves!
(Picture 5) These colorful brick pavers can bring lots of attention to your new hardscape! But be careful cause they might also make you dizzy! Shown to demonstrate that you don't have to make a traditional walkway to make a beautiful one. Sometimes going outside the box can bring you an amazingly and satisfying result.

Traditional is pretty!
(Picture 6) This is a more traditional pattern and design for those of you who hated the last image. In the spirit of older clay bricks, the 3 x 6 inch concrete paver bricks shown below have been set in a classic herringbone pattern with a sergeant course border. If understated elegance is your style, than this is the brick style for your walkway. (Picture 6) Souce: ALS Landscaping
You don't have to be stuck with regular bricks!
(Picture 7) These large Bluestone slabs are also a traditional landscaper's choice for elegant presentation. They are, however, better suited for the warmer climates of the south where the heaving and thawing that occurs in colder climates will not affect the level of the surface. If you have to use bluestone in colder climates make sure you set them in a substantial base of crushed stone to reduce the amount of movement they make over the winter.
